This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Revlon for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was chosen as one of the bloggers to participate in the Revlon Expression Experiment and I would like to share my experience with you all!
I chose to take the red lipstick challenge because it is something totally out of my element. When I first saw the red lipstick I felt completely out of my zone. I see people like Gwen Stefani, Iggy Azaela, and Beyonce rocking red lips and I just naturally think a person that wears bold red lipstick is full of confidence. So the thought of trying on a red lipstick kind of made me nervous. I was hesitant to even put it on because all I could think is what will people THINK when they see this on me. I’m super shy and like to blend in to an extent and this red lip stick was not going to allow me to remain invisible.
Finally I bit the bullet and applied my foundation and primer and then finally the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick. Instantly I felt cute. Not in a vain way like I couldn’t stop staring at myself ,but I did enjoy what I saw in the mirror.. does that sound bad?? It was like confidence in a tube because I immediately felt uplifted and bold and a little Sasha fierce. I like the idea that Revlon has about encouraging women to step outside of their comfort zone and try something new. Had it not been for this challenge I ‘m sure I would have never touched a bold lipstick.
The Revlon super lustrous lipstick is very smooth and stays put. I would definitely go out and buy this when it runs out. I also had the privilege of trying an assortment of other Revlon products, such as the Revlon Colorstay Longwear nail polish (pictured in the before photo) and the New Revlon Photoready makeup primer which I am wearing in the after picture.
I faced my fears of standing out with this challenge and realized that being out there and bold isn’t so bad. I encourage you to take part in the Expression Experiment and push yourself to try something new with your makeup. I certaintly enjoyed myself and will be posting more photos of the experiment challenges in the coming weeks. I would love for you lovely ladies to give this a try and share your looks in the comment section below!
Love you!
