New Day New Hair

I have been having major trouble with my hair lately. Due to my disorder my body has difficulty absorbing nutrients and stays dry and brittle. My hair length went from my shoulders to just barely beneath my chin. The breaking point came a few months ago when I noticed small clumps of hair coming out in the sink. It was so bad that when my mom brushed my hair it began to fall out in long strands to the floor.







After fighting tears I finally decided to face my fears and purchase a wig . I was so nervous but after watching a lot of YouTube videos and  researching companies, I found myself at divatress.com.

This site is a weave and wig lovers heaven. It took me three weeks of browsing , consulting, and nail biting before I finally purchased the Sensational Lace Front Bree wig in the color 1B/30.





This lace front wig does not require glue or tape so I was very pleased with that. My hair is suffering enough so I wanted to be very careful with what I chose to put in my hair. Also, I'm a newbie wig wearer and I didn't want anything that would take a lot of work or anything that would possibly ruin my hair line.





Shipping/Packaging







The wig arrived in a cardboard box surrounded by pink tissue paper and an invoice letting me know what I purchased. I was very please with the way divatress packaged my item and I was super happy to see that they added a few samples and a pack of skittles! How did they know! I love skittles and I have been saving my bag for the perfect day.



At this point I had a little panic attack and was to afraid to actually remove the wig from the packaging. I mean what if I hated it, I would have to keep it and spend my days annoyed with my not so lovely wig. Dramatic I know but I have the worse time making decisions. Anyway, after my fears subsided I carefully opened the packaging and fell in love!







The wig sits very snug on my head so I can have confidence it won’t fall off (because that would be embarrassing right?). The only down side is the lack of parting space but after playing around with it, I managed to create a natural looking part.
