CSI: Miami heat wave #Clevercsi

For those that are friends of mine on Facebook you have probably noticed that I have become obsessed with a new Facebook game, CSI Miami Heat Wave. You guys this game has Horatio in all of his sunglass loving glory. If you are a fan of the TV show you will love this game. When I saw that I was accepted to review CSI: Miami Heat Wave I literally smiled from ear to ear. Crime shows are my thing so of course this game was calling my name. I have been playing it nonstop and have only gotten to level 8 but I will explain why later.

In this game you have to collect shields, energy, and money which you will use later on to process evidence. Much like the television show, you are given a case and must collect all of the evidence , that you will later use to question the suspects. This may sound horrible but I found it cool that they literally drew out  a real crime scene, blood and all. I was however less than excited to find that one of my murder victims was a clown :( , I am terrified of clowns and wanted to whack my monitor when that horrid thing popped on the screen. But, my irrational fear of clowns aside, this game was awesome!

Here are a few screenshots:

The game starts out pretty much like the television show. The crime is committed then the team must assemble to find the killer. Your job is to search the tiles to find hidden evidence. At times you will stumble upon a trail and must follow the arrows to find your evidence. Even though you can stop searching the tiles after finding all of your evidence, I would encourage you to search all of them before heading to the lab. Why? Well, some tiles will give you extra points and cash which you can use later on in the game. Plus I’m all about being thorough. I did a quick video of one of the crime scenes so that you can get a feel for this game:

pros: This game really peeks your interest if you are into crime solving games.

cons: There were entirely to many pop ups in my opinion. I would like it if the game developer would consider having fewer pop ups requesting you to share your progress. Also the character loses energy quickly and you end up purchasing more energy and shields which would quickly drain your wallet.
