Lane Bryant-Altamonte Mall Shopping Trip

First off huge thank you to Lane Bryant for kindly gifting me a $30 gift card to Lane Bryant. My mom is a huge Lane Bryant fan and my sister even worked there back in 2001 when we first moved to the great state of Florida. So you can believe me when I say we love this store. Unfortunately there are now only two Lane Bryant stores nearby, one in Daytona Beach and the other in Altamonte Springs. We decided to take a trip to Altamonte because the Daytona location would have been a full 50 miles away, crazy I know! I really wish Lane Bryant would return to the Seminole Town Center Mall in Sanford Florida, oh how we do miss you. The drive there was pretty cool and we blasted Bridget Mindler and G-Dragon the entire ride there!



The Altamonte Mall Lane Bryant was nicely decorated and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by these two stylish mannequins and of course the incredibly sweet sales associate. I really wish I remembered her name but she was so kind the entire time even though my anxiety level was through the roof. She helped us around the store and helped my mom pick out the cutest outfits, which I’ll share with you later.



We spent the first few minutes in the shoe section but after 15 minutes realized we should probably look around the rest of the store and see what we could bring home. The purple shirt above caught my sister Lisa’s eye but after trying it on it was a bit to big and she sadly returned it to the rack.



These jammies were calling my name and I even tried to persuade my mom to purchase them but she said another time. Don’t they look so comfy though. The price wasn’t bad either! We will definitely pick these up next time we are in the mall. My mom had to look around the store for a bit before choosing the first outfit below:



This sequined top immediately caught my eye and I was so happy to see that my mom was on the same wave length. I personally think this top with these Lane Bryant boot cut jeans was so adorable. My mom even added a pop of purple with these pumps she saw while shopping around the store. Honestly this was my favorite and I even wished I could bring it home with me! But this trip was all about Momma bear and we had to see her in another outfit, which is where outfit two comes in.



This is a more casual look for my mom. She liked how comfortable this shirt was and the fact that she could wear this to work and still fit in the business world without looking to laid back. Finally the time came to pick a winner. Which shirt would she purchase? Drum roll please…….

She chose the….second top!

In the end the casual top won over the party sequins. I plan to go back and purchase the first outfit for her because well lets be honest she looked so darn cute in it! I want to take this opportunity to say thank you momma bear for sticking it out with me past my social anxieties and fear of snapping pictures in public. You’re a trooper and I love you and also huge thank you to the night staff at the Altamonte Mall Lane Bryant! You guys were amazing and thank you for letting me be a crazy blogger in your store!
