My Thoughts: The cream felt so nice on my face and didn’t leave a sticky feeling on my skin. Thoughts: The Mia Mariu gel cleanser let my skin feeling soft and smelling really nice! The scent kind of reminds me of a nice beach vacation. Does that make sense? Well you will have to try it to see what I mean. My skin is very temperamental and tends to reject everything I try to use on it, but thankfully it seemed to love this cleanser. Maybe this is due to the fact that this is a gentle cleanser and not harsh like most cleansers on the market today. I would also like to add that I purposely forgot to apply moisturizer after using this cleanser and I can gladly say that my skin never felt dry or tight. A huge plus for a facial cleanser. Mia Mariu also sent me a shadow liner which you will see a review for in the coming weeks. I can see clearly now + Giveaway

Hello lovely people!! I dropped so many hints this past weekend in regards to this post that many of you were probably waiting anxiously for this giveaway to start! Giveaway- Hate the mess when applying makeup

Well so do I and up until two weeks ago I thought that I’d always have to use the back of my hand or my foundation lid to apply foundation. But that can be terribly annoying. We’ve all been there, you are all dressed up and ready to go when you realize you haven’t applied your makeup. You dab a little foundation to the back of your hand and begin applying it to your face when OH NO your foundation hand rubs across your shirt and now its ruined!



I’ve been there a thousand times but Molly over at Mineral Mate has created the perfect product that will change the way we do makeup! Allow me to introduce you to the Mineral Mate!







A new alternative to applying makeup. Don’t let the name fool you this baby is also great for liquid foundations, blush, powders, eye shadow, and even lipstick.

There are seven compartments. The three larger compartments can be used to my powder or liquid foundation. Like I did here with my Mac and Revlon Foundation. The Mac foundation is a little to light and the Revlon is a tad too dark but with the Mineral Mate I was able to mix them together for a perfect application.

My Dog is a Liar and Giveaway Winner

Good afternoon lovely people. How was your weekend? Thanks to my dog my weekend was very eventful. It all started Saturday morning. The mister had to go to the Veterinarian for his yearly shots and while there he loved up on the Vet techs and made them think he is the most well behaved dog ever ( ALL LIES) . So fast forward to six hours later, my sister and I return home to find the little one shaking and looking as if he were near death. Freaking out we jumped in the car and rushed him to the over night clinic. Here we are 10pm at night , rushing out of our home because we think our baby is near death. This is where the title starts to make sense. This little guy here:





 

Gets into the arms of the Vet Tech and magically he’s okay. He starts licking her face and playing as if nothing ever happened. Naturally the Veterinarian thinks we’re nuts for driving all the way there with a perfectly healthy dog. But how could we possibly have known. Just to make sure he wasn’t actually sick, she made him a chicken meatball to make sure he could keep food down. This crumb snatcher ate the meatball out of the Vet Tech’s hands and bit her in the process. We left relieved he was okay but even the Veterinarian said she thinks the little one faked being sick for free treats. Dogs and their personality, you gotta love them!

Free Movie Tickets - Update

This has been one crazy week and as I sit here typing I am exhausted and seeing double. Last weekend I had a chance to visit my local Health food store and while there I saw a few natural beauty products that I can’t wait to go back and purchase. This store was super huge and I couldn’t browse the entire store because my family and I had to get home before it was too late. But I did manage to snap a few pictures of some of the products offered at the Health food store.











I ended up purchasing the Peacekeeper Natural Peppermint Lip balm. The texture of this lip balm was amazing and I immediately fell in love. Unfortunately, I lost the lip balm the very next day and I’m really upset about that. Hopefully I will stumble upon it again and write up a review for you all. Speaking of reviews, my blog has been lacking them lately and I promise there is a good reason for this. I have just been entirely too busy focusing on the design for my blog that I’ve kind of let everything else fall by the wayside. I just really want Sweet Tart Beauty to be appealing and because of this every waking hour is spent learning about CSS and all that other technical mumble so that I can finally have a blog I can be proud of.
